2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero First Ride and Pictures

2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero Fairing
In this year, 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero is Kawasaki’s first attempt to target the market long dominated by Harley-Davidson Street Glide – a city of bad boy is ready for tourism, with saddle bags and a large frame mounted fairing with a deflector light wind. The Vaquero use a fairing based on that used by Voyager full dress, with a slightly different dashboard (including the wild red light in the dark) with a baffle of six inches in height, black smoke from the wind (instead of a full windshield).

Inside, you always get a complete scan analog tachometer and speedometer, plus a needle gauge, coolant temperature – are large and round. The radio / stereo try to capture a 60s look, but it will not fool anyone, thanks to an LCD. This lets you control an audio system that has FM, AM and WX bands, as well as compatibility with the optional Apple iPod, XM tuner or CB radio units. No less important is a great retro LCD console switch includes a display gear position, fuel gauge, clock, odometer, dual trip meter, remaining range and average fuel consumption.
