2011 Harley-Davidson Rocker C Review

Some of the Harley-Davidson motorcycles are made to be ridden, and others have seen. Without doubt, the 2011 Harley-Davidson Rocker C is a bike that is a feast for the eyes. In turn scarlet red Deluxe is impossible to avoid the thumbs up signs for pedestrians, the moving truck guy who says “nice bike” is a traffic light, the old beat-up truck pick-up to give knowing winks as we expect it to turn green – it goes on and on, throughout the day, the neighborhood after neighborhood. In the jaded metropolis like Los Angeles, where people usually avoid eye contact while driving, is exceptional.

There is much to say about the appearance of the 2011 Harley-Davidson Rocker C, 37 degree raked front end tire rear wing near the body. Certainly, there are a couple of sets of hands with C. The Rocker looks like a car almost float in the air also has a passenger seat that can be stored installs without tools in less than a minute. The mirage Softail is particularly effective, thanks to a rear fender that moves with the rear wheel, as we are used to seeing on the front. Add to that the capture eye makeup (I wonder if you have the same number of unsolicited compliments had I not been in the red version) and has a bike that demands and receives attention. In general, the motor draws the eyes of the spectators, but for the Rocker C, the Twin Cam 96B is relegated to being only an exceptional artist. Couple globs of mud from every pore of the 1584cc air-cooled, pushrod wonder.

There is no traditional Tach, and you do not. torque peaks just over 92 ft / lbs at 3000 rpm, if you click on the rev limiter, you are doing something wrong. Transmission six-speed early and turn the throttle thick for lightning fast between traffic lights. The 240mm rear Dunlop is firmly installed in the field, none of pulses the big V-twin power are balanced so wasted. Wheels of 2011 Harley-Davidson Rocker C encourage me to do from start to finish working on some of the iconic streets of Los Angeles. In one case, that means Santa Monica Boulevard from the sunny beaches of the west end of Sunset Junction is tough. With the exception of a few turns almost imperceptibly along the way, the former U.S. Route 66 (California Highway and stream 2) is a forehand about 15 miles. A lot of weaving through traffic by tourists, text, cellphones and other persons who do not pay attention to the road.
None of the lights are synchronized, so stop-and-go “is the name of the game. Balanced engine is pretty nice red, purring along nicely, instead of doing the Watusi unbalanced Twin Cam are famous for. Speed, vibration remains and the pulses are completely fun. This fits well 2011 Harley-Davidson Rocker C. Several stops means a lot of face time visitors to get their lights. Bar pulls well and is not particularly large, so moving between cars, trucks and SUVs is simple . The mirrors are smaller, but still manages to offer a splendid view of the street behind you – and nobody is gaining on you. Since the machine will do battle in an urban environment, 2011 Harley-Davidson Rocker C is excellent. He likes to roll straight and the only time you see a narrow and sloping forehead is when you pull into a gas station or restaurant. So, it seems, Rocker C is a perfect city bike – and could be alone. However, some of us have extended ideas of motorcycling.
Take the Harley-Davidson Rocker C on the road and their attitude changes quickly. In town, the sitting position of choice is the right upright with a slight bend in the arm, and leaned back a bit with the arm fully extended. Anyway, a footrest mounted on the front is combined with the seat and bars to give you a very aggressive attitude. However, the Rocker C is a  public hearing  rather than  sit in  type of bike. That means you get a maximum of the serious at highway speeds. Not have to jump solo seat long as you keep a good grip on the bars as your body does an imitation of a comet. The 2011 Harley-Davidson Rocker C the classic 6-speed Cruise Drive, but you just want to go back far enough to go over 70 mph to get really great help from more than 6 in driving the vehicle. Click through the sixth full early and you will feel like you are lugging the engine, even thought it has always enough grunt to pass without cuts.
I rarely found myself on the 5 freeway, which meant I had to spend a lot of power when I needed it. Beware of the speed brakes, too. Neither the front or rear brakes do not have serious braking capabilities, but the sign should go to the front. Plan accordingly. In the Santa Monica Mountains, rather than on Santa Monica Boulevard, Rocker C reluctantly tackles canyons. The front end wants to flop in the loop if you are not fully attentive, and the large back deck, he wanted to get up at random. The brakes also be above anything, but the more relaxed pace. CI Rocker rolled with the ABS option, but I can not imagine that unlock either front or rear wheel drive. Speed limits are to lose their importance because not encouraged to go fast enough to overtake. Ground clearance is correct, then you will not be pulling often, which is welcome.
The suspension works best, neutral gas – when you are on the gas or brake, it seems to load the suspension and are less flexible. Sit down and take it slow, disappointed to see that in the bush, there is no one to thank you for your Scarlet Red bike – you, of course. Excluding Harley-Davidson has added some new features to the Rocker C, but does affect driving. There is a new security package, which includes Harley-Davidson Smart Security System, which I find annoying in most cases – of course it’s not my bike change. Harley has removed some lines on the bars and there is an odometer and new distress button. In addition, the odometer reading is greater and it is supposed to be a gear and display RPM. I must tell you – I rode the bike several times never noticed. But I can tell they are there, but I have no idea why someone would use them.
Rpm reading is hard to read (but easily accessible from the left thumb control) and totally unnecessary. To the extent the team are, I can not imagine who cares. Also, a little green  and lights when in overdrive – if you could not understand on their own. As in my case, I can walk all day without looking at the speedometer or any of the information surrounding it and do very well. The 2011 Harley-Davidson Rocker C is a great bike, if it knows its place. Keep on the streets of cities where people can enjoy and you can enjoy the best aspects of its management, suspension and power delivery. Sure, you can get out of his element of short-term maturities, but may register their disappointment in you. This is a bike to travel around the club and show their brilliance. Rock on.
